Toronto police have made an arrest related to a sexual assault that allegedly happened in the 1960s.
Investigators say in the summer of 1967, a then 19-year-old man befriended the family of a 13-year-old boy through a church association, convinced the teen to have a meditation session in private and allegedly sexually assaulted that boy.
69-year-old Edward (Ted) English, who now lives in New Brunswick, has now been arrested on a Canada-wide warrant and charged with indecent assault and gross indecency.
Police say he worked as a clergy member for the Christian Brotherhood in the late '60s and early '70s.
