The city is keeping most of its splash pads open until at least Thursday in the face of continuing high heat and an extended heat warning.
After a weekend extension, splash pads were supposed to shut down on Monday.
Environment Canada is forecasting highs of 31 degrees Monday through Wednesday with a return to more seasonal temperatures on Thursday.
Some of the city's 93 splash pads have already been taken out of service for the winter.
