After a Toronto tutor was first charged with sexually assaulting a girl back in April, more alleged victims have come forward and more charges have been laid.
Back on April 9th, 44-year-old Christopher Morrison was first charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and sexual exploitation, in connection to alleged incidents that happened at the Academy of New Echo Education.
Police believe between March 2018 and March 2019, a student was assaulted and then Morrison was charged again in June after another victim came forward.
Cst. Victor Kwong now says thanks to tips from the public and the media, new information has revealed that two other girls were assaulted between January 2016 and January 2019.
"Officers believe that given his position of authority, given all the information that has come forward, that it is possible that there may be further victims," Kwong said.
Morrison now faces nine charges in connection to four victims and was hired by ANEE back in December 2014 and is no longer with the academy.
The centre was previously known as Canada Creative Education Centre and has about 25 students aged six to 17.
Kwong said no other details of the students will be released to protect their identities.
