Toronto police are looking for help finding a dog that's believed to have been stolen from a home in the Eglinton Avenue and Caledonia Road area back in October.
The woman retunred to her home October 31, 2016 around 6:30 p.m. to find someone had entered the home and one of her dogs was gone.
The three-year-old Cane Corso Mastiff is 2.5 feet tall and at the time weighed around 70 lbs. The owner says she may also be pregnant.
She answers to the name "Lava."
Police say the woman has reason to believe that her dog may have been re-sold without her consent to someone either in Ontario or possibly in Quebec.
If you, or someone you know, has recently purchased or been gifted this dog, you are in possession of stolen property and are asked to contact police.
