Across the Atlantic Ocean is where you'll find Mayor John Tory for the next few days.
The man in Toronto's top job, who was recently elected to a second term, is in Lisbon, Portugal at the Web Summit - known as the world's largest technology conference.
Alongside Councillor Michael Thompson, Tory is part of a pan-Canadian delegation made up of more than 400 companies, organizations and individuals.
He is spending the next two days promoting the benefits of doing business in Toronto, as well as raising awareness about the city's Enercare Centre hosting Web Summit's sister conference - Collision - from May 20 to 23, 2019. Toronto will also host the annual conference in 2020 and 2021.
According to a release by the City of Toronto, the event will bring 30,000 delegates and $50 million in spending to Toronto for each year the conference is held.
On Monday, Tory will speak at Web Summit's Eco-System Summit. He will also be participating in a Facebook live event at 9:30 a.m. Lisbon time - 4:30 a.m. in Toronto.
The pan-Canadian delegation includes established and startup tech companies, incubators and venture capitalists.
More than 70,000 attendees from over 170 countries are at Web Summit in Lisbon.
According to Tory spokesperson Don Peat, the Mayor will fly back to Toronto on Tuesday.
