Police are investigating who left a training military munition in an empty parking spot at a downtown condo.
Officers were called to a condo near Queen and Beverley Sts, where what looked like a mortar round was found just before the lunch hour.
The bomb squad was called in to take a look and with the help of the Canadian military were able to determine that this was a training round used to simulate an explosion during military exercises.
The munition is being transported in a containment vessel and the military will dispose of it.
Police will be investigating who left it in the parking garage and why.
