A bus driver is now facing charges for an incident, where a 71-year-old woman was killed last month.
It happened on Eglington, west of Midland on the morning of July 18th.
Police said the bus had jstopped on Eglinton to drop off passengers, one of them appeared to be the senior. But as she was exiting, the bus started to pull away, witnesses said the woman fell and was struck by the vehicle.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 58-year-old Markham man faces several charges, including careless driving.
He'll be in court on September 28th.
