TVO's host of The Agenda, Steve Paikin, has been cleared of sexual misconduct allegations.
The public broadcaster says the third-party investigation involved 21 witnesses being interview over 11 weeks and the accusations were found to have no merit, Paikin did not violate TVO policies.
In February, former Toronto mayoral candidate Sarah Thomson accused Paikin of propositioning her during a business lunch in 2010 and that she declined the offer.
Paikin, in a lengthy Facebook post, addressed the allegations a few days later. He described them as "complete fiction," "100 per cent false," and "bogus." He said he was "gobsmacked" when he received the email from Thomson outlining her claims.
He has continued to host The Agenda throughout the investigation.
TVO says it is proud of Paikin and his 25 years of work.
The case is now closed.
