Police say two people with links to organized crime have been arrested in connection with a daylight shooting in Mississauga, Ont., that killed a 32-year-old man earlier this week.
Investigators say a Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a third person, and there may be other suspects.
The shooting took place around 11:20 a.m. Monday morning in the parking lot of a gym.
Police say Michael Deabaitua-Schulde, of Mississauga, was found at the scene and died from his injuries in hospital.
They say two suspects, 28-year-old Marckens Vilme and 26-year-old Jonathan Martinez-Reyes, were arrested Wednesday night in Montreal.
Vilme is charged with first-degree murder and Martinez-Reyes with accessory after the fact.
