At least two Canadians have been killed in the deadly shooting at a country music concert in Las Vegas.
Local police say that 58 people have died, more than 500 were injured, when a gunman opened fire from the 32nd floor of a hotel across the street from the outdoor event.
CTV News reports that among those killed are a 23-year-old man from Maple Ridge, B.C., a suburb of Vancouver, and a 28-year-old woman from Alberta.
Jordan McIldoon's family tells CTV that he would have turned 24 later this week. His employer says that he was visiting Las Vegas with his girlfriend.
Jessica Klymchuk has been identified as the other victim. She was visiting Vegas with her fiance and leaves behind four children.
At least four other Canadians were also injured in the shooting.
NEWSTALK 1010 has reached out to Global Affairs Canada for confirmation. The office says it is working on a statement.
