Two children are dead, after a snowmobile went through the ice on Lake Muskoka on the weekend.
The tragedy played out, around 12:30 on Monday morning, with Bracebridge OPP confirming they retrieved an 11-year-old and a 15-year-old from the lake.
Five people were riding three snowmobiles, when they all went through the ice, according to police.
A 31-year-old man from Bracebridge, a 37-year-old man from Gravenhurst and a 14-year-old, all managed to get out of the water safely.
The two others were taken to hospital but were pronounced dead shortly after.
The investigation continues, and so far no charges have been laid.
