Up to 10 shots rang out near Jane and Finch just after 5:00 p.m. this evening, seriously injuring two people.
Toronto Police say the busy area of Jane and Yorkwoods Gate, which is mostly residential, has a park nearby.
Constable Laura Brabant says witnesses reported up to 10 shots being fired, and people were seen fleeing from the area, apparently scared for their lives.
The victims were rushed to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police haven't released any suspect information at this point.
