Two men are facing charges in connection with three knifepoint robberies last month in Etobicoke.
The incidents occurred between April 18 and 30 at a gas station and two convenience stores. In each robbery police say the two suspects entered the business wearing balaclavas. One of the suspects allegedly held a big knife and demanded cash, while the other collected the money into a bag.
During one of the robberies it's alleged the suspect armed with the knife jumped over the counter and held it to an employee's chest when demanding money.
The two suspects were arrested seperately this month.
33-year-old Gornes Gittens of Etobicoke on May 1 and charged with 12 offcences. May 11th, 27-year-old Jerome Turner of Brampton was arrested and faces 15 charges.
Police add the pair will also face charges in Hamilton in addition to the ones they are facing in Toronto.
