A shooting aboard a TTC bus in Etobicoke early Saturday morning has left one person with life-threatening injuries.
Toronto Police spokesperson Katrina Arrogante tells Newstalk 1010 that a second person suffered serious injuries but is in stable condition.
"Two males were allegedly shot on board a bus. Officers responded and found two males that sustained gunshot wounds to the mid-section of their body."
The shooting occurred in the area of Bloor Street and Islington Avenue at around 4:20 a.m.
Police confirm it happened aboard the 300-B bus, that runs along Bloor.
One of the bullets fired also struck one of the windows of the bus.
Police also confirm they are looking for four suspects that were seen running from the scene after the shooting.
"Witnesses advised that four suspects were seen running northbound on Islington."
So far, no description of the suspects wanted has been released.
