Two shootings overnight, in two different parts of Peel Region that for now, do not appear to be connected.
Peel Police Const. Sarah Patten confirmed to newstalk 1010 that a 39-year-old male victim died of his injuries as a result of a shooting in Brampton.
" it's believed that the shooting occurred on the roadway and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene."
The shooting occurred in an industrial area at 15 Hale Road and Bramsteele Road just before 5 a.m. Saturday morning.
Homicide detectives are investigating.
Earlier in the morning at around 2 a.m., a 28-year-old male victim was shot outside a Mississauga hotel near Britannia Road and Hurontario Street.

According to Const. Patten, police have a description of a suspect that took off following the shooting.
"He's described as male black, six feet tall, with a muscular build and a bald head."
The victim is currently at a Toronto area trauma centre in life-threatening condition.
