Toronto Police say an 18-year-old man and 18-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in relation to three armed robberies in the Beaches neighbourhood.
On Saturday April 8th at one o'clock in the morning in the Lee Avenue and Violet Avenue area, two suspects approached a pizza delivery person wearing masks and demanded money.
One of the suspects was allegedly carrying a gun, the suspects took off after getting an undisclosed amount of money.
Around 4:30 a.m. that day a lone masked suspect armed with a gun allegedly robbed a taxi driver in the Kingswood Road and Sanwick Avenue area getting away with cash.
Monday April, 10th around 4:00 a.m. police say another taxi driver was robbed by a masked suspect with a gun, this time in the Spruce Hill Road and Queen Street East area.
It was on Thursday April 13th police were called to Waverley Road and Norway Avenue after people reported a suspicious male seraching parked cars.
A short car pursuit happened after officers arrived, but the car eventually stopped and a man and woman were arrested.
18-year-old Samuel Wincenty of Toronto faces 32 charges including four counts of Possess Firearm Obtained by Crime, two counts of Robbery with a Firearm and three of counts of Disguise with Intent.
18-year-old Emma Young of Toronto faces 12 charges including Possess Firearm Obtained by Crime and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
Both attended court at Old City Hall on Friday.
