Two Toronto police officers have been charged in relation to an on-duty incident in January.
The officers reportedly got high from marijuana edibles seized during a dispensary raid.
Constables Vitorrio Dominelli and Jamie Young have now been arrested and are facing criminal charges of attempting to obstruct justice and breach of trust.
Dominelli has been with the force for over a decade, while Young has been with Toronto police for over two years.
There were reports that one of the officers got so high he climbed a tree and that the two had to call for backup.
While police won't confirm the details, they say the charges stem from allegations regarding their participation in a search warrant at a marijuana dispensary.
The two officers will be in court on June 7. They remain suspended with pay.
