A Vaughan man has been arrested, accused of sexually assaulting women he picked up as an Uber driver.
The string of sexual assaults are said to have happened between December 2017 and October 2018.
In two of the cases, the women had ordered an Uber and the accused allegedly showed up, pretending to be the driver who had accepted the request. "In the other two occurances the accused had offered rides to women who were waiting for a ride," explains Detective Cheryl Jones.
Senol Komec, 38, is said to have mostly operated as an Uber driver in downtown Toronto and Etobicoke.
His vehicle is described as a 2017 white Dodge Caravan.
He's been charged with four counts of sexual assault and four counts of forcible confinement.
