A 19-year-old Brock university student will represent the Progressive Conservatives in an upcoming byelection.
Sam Oosterhoff won the nomination Saturday night in the riding of Niagara West-Glanbrook.
He beat out the PC party's president and former MP Rick Dykstra and Regional Councillor Tony Quirk.
The riding was left empty when former party leader Tim Hudak resigned last month.
Oosterhoff has worked as a legislative assistant in Parliament Hill.
The byelection is on Novembe 17th.
