A 16 year-old boy is dead after crashing his parents' car in Scarborough overnight.
He was driving in a Mercedes, with two other 16 year-old boys, when he lost control on Brimley near McNicoll.
Reports from the scene suggest the teen was driving very fast at the time and slammed into a pole.
He was taken to hospital where he was removed from life support with his family by his side, according our sister station CP24.
One of the passengers is also in life-threatening condition, while the other teenager went to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Damage to the vehicle was so significant it reportedly took firefighters about an hour to remove the three boys.
