A much different type of wake up call at a downtown hotel Saturday.
Some guest awoke to a commotion and gun fire inside the Hyatt Regency Hotel on King street in downtown Toronto
around 4:30 Saturday morning. According to Toronto police,two men, in their 20's, were both shot and suffered serious non life threatening wounds.
The incident happened on the 9th floor of the hotel. A guest next door heard it all go down.
"I was woken up by a loud noise, I first thought it was a really bad door slamming. Then it was followed by some screams,
some very heavy screams. Then right after that I heard another,now I knew it was a gun shot."
Both victims were conscious and breathing at scene and were transported to hospital.
Police have no information as to any suspect or suspects in the shooting.
