Two separate collisions involving motorcycles have claimed two lives in the GTA.
A car struck a motorcycle in the area of Brimorton Drive and Bellamy Road in Scarborough just before 9 p.m last night.
Gary Long of Toronto Police Corporate Communications confirmed to NEWSTALK1010 Saturday morning that the 71-year-old motorcycle rider died at the scene.
"It's alleged that a 71-year-old man was riding a motorcycle westbound on Brimorton Drive. A man driving a black Dodge Challenger was travelling northbound on Bellamy road. The car did strike the motorcycle and the rider was pronounced deceased at the scene."
The driver of the car then took off on foot.
Toronto Police have released the identity of the suspect wanted in the hit-and-run as 29-year-old Marc Laurin of Toronto. He is wanted for Dangerous Operation Causing Death and Fail to Stop After Collision.
Laurin is described as 5'10", 160 lbs., with a medium build, short black hair, and was unshaven. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark pants and a dark blazer.
He is believed to be violent and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.

A 2nd motorcyclist was killed when his bike collided with a car in the area of Jane St. and Highway 400 in Vaughan around 11:40 p.m..
York Regional Police confirmed to NEWSTALK1010 Saturday morning the victim was a male in his 20's. But no further information on the identity of the victim or circumstances surrounding the crash have been released.
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have dash cam video to contact them.
