Toronto police are investigating how a van full of people left the roadway injuring five of them.
On Saturday around 12:40 a.m. police responded to a call for a collision at Rockcliffe Boulevard and Woolner Avenue in the Jane Street and St. Clair Avenue area.
It is reported a 21-year-old man was driving the Honda Odyssey with six passengers southbound on Rockcliffee Boulevard approaching Woolner when, for reasons police have not yet determined, the vehicle left the roadway and mounted the curb. The van then hit two trees before stopping.
Police say two teenaged boys, a 16 and 17-year-old were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Three other people in the van were taken to hospital with various levels of injuries, according to police.
