A 29-year-old Ajax man appeared in court Thursday with bruises on his face, accused of killing his girlfriend and two of her teenage children.
It was at about 11 a.m. Wednesday that police got a call from a woman who had gone to visit her friend, concerned about her well-being. She told police she came across a man who would not let her inside. Suspecting something suspicious she called 911.
By the time officers arrived, the man had taken off. Inside, they found the bodies of 39-year-old Krissy Pejcinovski and her 15-year-old son Roy. Her 13-year-old daughter Venallia was in critical condition and was rushed to hospital. She died later that night.
Wednesday evening, police arrested Krissy's boyfriend Cory Fenn. He has been charged with three counts of second-degree murder.
He appeared in court Thursday afternoon in a black T-shirt and a banged-up face. His case has been adjourned until March 28.
Fenn is "known to police."
Our partners at CTV Toronto report that he had been in court twice before, in 2011 for mischief, and in 2009 for assaulting a police officer.
