Police have recovered a body from Lake Ontario at the site where a car plunged into the water last night.
Reports suggest it is that of an older man.
The car went into the water just after 10 p.m. at Lake Shore and Parliament.
Witnesses say the car reversed. It smashed through a guardrail and into the lake.
At least one bystander jumped in to attempt a rescue but was unsuccessful.
They managed to get out of the water safely.
