Police say this all started in a convenience store in the area of Kings Cross Road and Knightbridge in Brampton back on the evening of June 1. A man allegedly approached the woman and tried to strike up a conversation. When that didn't work, he left, jumping into a silver vehicle and following the suspect.
But soon after, the man jumped out of the car again, and this time allegedly sexually assaulted the woman, and then as you can see in the video, turns back and throws punches. All this happening as the woman's child watches.
Anirudha Nayagam, 24, of Brampton turned himself in late Tuesday after police released video of the incident. He is charged with sexual assault, assault and criminal harassment.
