A Brampton senior who has been reported missing twice this week has been found safe.
Peel Regional Police say Alber Marbena disappeared at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. The 75-year-old was found Thursday a few kilometres from his home with family members.
Marbena had also gone missing Saturday and was not discovered until Monday, walking in Toronto near Steeles Ave W and Weston Rd.
Police have appealed for help to find Marbena at least four times in recent months. Cst. Akhil Mooken says the senior has a medical condition that causes him to become easily confused. While Mooken wouldn't elaborate, citing privacy reasons, the condition is reported to be dementia.
