The Canadian military has landed in Gillam, Manitoba, and will join the search for two young homicide suspects in northern Manitoba.
A Hercules aircraft will use its sensing equipment to search the ground for signs of humans.
Earlier in the day, Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale tweeted that the military would be giving the Mounties air support in combing the terrain around Gillam, Manitoba.

Police also continue to scour the bush around the area, which is dense, swarming with flies and boggy.
Bryer Schmegelsky and Kam McLeod haven't been spotted since Monday.
Yesterday R-C-M-P urged the public to be vigilant, but not to spread rumours on social media.
Schmegelsky and McLeod are charged with the murder of one man in B-C, and are suspects in the shooting deaths of a tourist couple from Australia and the U-S.
