OPP say a Quebec boy who was the subject of an amber alert has been found safe in Eastern Ontario.
The boy was found in Griffith, Ont., about 150 kilometres west of Ottawa.
His father is in custody. He will appear in an Ontario court for a bail hearing at 10 a.m. via video conference.
The Canadian Press reports the boy is in good physical health and has been placed in the care of child services.
The boy was the subject of an Amber Alert in Quebec after going missing Thursday evening from Saint-Eustache, a Montreal suburb.
The boy's mother was found dead at a house in Saint-Eustache.
