For the second morning in a row, Toronto transit riders faced delays on the city's subway system, this time because of cracked rail.
The problem was discovered before 7 a.m. Wedneday at Bloor-Yonge Station station.
Northbound trains were slowed through the station, a move which the TTC expected could add as much as 15 minutes to a trip between Union and Bloor-Yonge.
By 11 a.m. the rail had been repaired, albeit temporarily and subway cars were moving through Bloor-Yonge at regular speeds.

TTC spokesman Brad Ross says the damaged stretch of rail will be replaced overnight.
Ross chalks the damage up to wear-and-tear. "Cracks happen," he said.
