One person is in police custody -- suspected of impaired driving -- while another is in hospital following a crash on Carlton Street near Jarvis early Saturday morning
Toronto police received the call about a three-vehicle collision around 6:44 a.m.
Reports indicated that one of the vehicles had run a rerd light.
A female victim was rushed to hospital with potentially serious injuries reported to be upper body.
She's believed to be in her teens.
Katrina Arrogante of Toronto Police Corporate Communications confirmed to Newstalk 1010 that one driver was arrested on scene and taken in.
"With being possibly impaired so traffic services is investigating that."
Investigators concluded their findings and the intersection reopened to traffic later Saturday morning.
There was no further update on the condition of the female victim or what charges the driver is facing.
