Parents in places like Whitby, Oshawa and Bowmanville, will have to find another way of getting their kids to school on Wedneday.
A strike by school bus drivers means no school bus transportation for about 22 hundred students.
Talks broke down on Tuesday and Durham Student Transportation Services has been notified by the union representing school bus drivers a strike will begin Wednesday morning.
That's after notice was given last week.
