There is good news for drivers trying to get into or out of downtown.
Mayor John Tory says the Don Valley Parkway is expected to remain open overnight.

There had been concerns it may need to close due to flooding but the rain has been less intense than expected.
City staff had warned Thursday that it may need to be closed ahead of the Friday afternoon rush if the Don River spilled over its banks and flooded the parkway.
That wasn't the case.
In a news release, city officials said accumulation Friday afternoon was about 1 to 2 mm per hour, not enough to cause flooding.
Crews are continuing to monitor the situation on the DVP and other low-lying areas.
