Alleged serial killer nurse Elizabeth Wettlaufer has been hit with six new criminal charges.
Already facing eight counts of first-degree murder, Wettlaufer was charged Friday with four counts of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault.
Each charge is attached to someone aged 57 to 90 staying at long-term care homes Wettlaufer worked at in Woodstock, Brant County and a private resident in Oxford County. The allegations are said to have unfolded between June 2007 and August 2016.
Police say four of the six victims have died but their deaths are not attributed to Wettlaufer.
