If a heavy dose of snow in Toronto wasn't enough to deal with this weekend, how about some freezing rain?
Environment Canada has issued a Freezing rain warning for Sunday calling for a mix of freezing rain and ice pellets in the morning and according to Environment Canada's Rhea Olsen
"Will last for several hours before changing back to snow in the afternoon."
Olsen adds the good news for Toronto, as far as winter weather goes, the original estimate of up to 10cms of snow expected Sunday has been downgraded to just a few.
"We've lowered our snowfall amount for Sunday because of the freezing rain,so most of the snow that is falling this weekend is actually falling today with a couple of more cms tonight."
And according to Olsen,it's not all doom and gloom weather wise for the start of the week.
"It looks like we have quite a break for the new work week. Maybe a little bit of a mild spell too towards the middle or end of this coming week."
