Toronto police say Kobe has been safely located and returned to his owner.
They tweeted out the news Sunday morning.
On April 19 at 11 p.m. a woman tied the dog to a bench outside a fast-food restaurant in the Bloor Street East and Sherbourne Street area.
When she came back out, she found the dog had been stolen.
Kobe is a Pomeranian/Shih Tzu mix.
He was found tied to a post.
An image of the suspect was captured on surveillance video and released to the public on Saturday.
Police say they are still looking for the suspect.
