Toronto Police have made an arrest in connection to a series of sexual assaults near York University.
The incidents date back to October, with a total of five assaults and one robbery reported.
Most of the assaults occurred within blocks of each other, and all involved women in their early 20's.
Police are saying that three of the assaults happened in one evening.
The most recent though, is the most startling, since the level of violence has ratcheted up.
On Wednesday evening, a woman was grabbed from behind, had a knife held to her throat, before he sexually assaulted her
She eventually was able to break free and the man ran off.
On Friday, a man was arrested in connection to the investigation and charged accordingly, although they haven't made the charges public.
A suspect has been arrested in appeal for info to ID suspect for sex assaults.

Police tell NEWSTALK1010 Saturday afternoon that at this point, it's too early in the investigation to release the suspect's identity and photo.
According to a release, investigators will release all of that information "when appropriate."
