The man in the police photo related to the beer throwing at Tuesday's Blue Jays game has been identified by several media outlets as Ken Pagan, a journalist and Postmedia employee.
It was in the 7th inning of the wild-card game between the Jays and Orioles, a beer was thrown onto the field, narrowly missing Baltimore outfielder Hyun Soo Kim.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Blue Jays released a statement calling the incident, "embarrassing."
"We would like to offer our sincere apologies and regrets to the entire Baltimore Orioles organization, its manager and players, as well as Major League Baseball," the statement read.
"We will also enact heightened security measures and alcohol policies that will ensure the fan experience and safety of everybody involved."
When asked by NEWSTALK 1010, the club wouldn't provide specifics on what those measures and policies might be.
