This weekend is going to be fantastic!
You can expect sunshine for most of the long weekend with highs between 27 and 30 degrees. There is a 30% chance of showers late Saturday afternoon.
If you're planning to enjoy the sun up north, the Mayor of Bracebridge hopes you might stop in for a visit.
Graydon Smith tells NEWSTALK 1010 that after a rough start, with spring flooding and poor weather through June, things are really starting to look up.
"The lakes and rivers are warm and it's a great time to come up and experience nature," Smith says.
He adds that water levels are back to normal and the downtown is in great shape. It was spared the worst of the flood damage.
If you are planning a trip up north, you might want to wait until Saturday to fill up on gas.
Gas price watcher Dan McTeague expects prices will drop by four cents per litre for Saturday, to an average of 121.9 cents per litre in the GTA.
