Two men - one in his 40's, the other in his 20's - are dead after an overnight shooting in Etobicoke, in the Albion Road and Kipling area.
Police were called to 69 A Lightwood Drive at about 2:00 a.m. Sunday.
Det. Sgt. Jeff Alderdice says there's very little information on the victims' relation to one another and to the property.
“The suspects remain at large. We don’t have information at this time but we are definitely seeking witnesses and any input from the public,” Alderdice told CP24.
“Certainly any resident in this area that has any information, we would love to speak with them. If they do check their property and they find anything of an evidentiary nature, then they should contact us right away.”
Meantime, around the same time, police were called to a townhouse complex in North York for a fatal shooting.
"Just around 2 a.m. was a call for an address on Replin Road," Constable Allyson Douglas-Cook told NEWSTALK1010. "Reports were that someone had been shot in the area - a woman - and units responded and they did locate a female victim."
The woman succumbed to her injuries in hospital.
"We're obviously seeking witnesses," Douglas-Cook added. "Anyone who might have seen or heard anything in the area around 2 a.m., we're asking for them to please call Toronto Police Homicide."
There's no word on any suspects.
