A 49-year-old nurse at long term car homes in Southwestern Ontario is facing eight counts of first degree murder.
Seven of the eight people killed were at Caressant Care in Woodstock, while the other victim was living at a home in London.
Charged is Elizabeth Tracey Mae Wettlaufer.

Police say the victims were all administered some sort of drug, but wouldn't elaborate which one.
Caressant Care says Wettlaufer left their organization two and a half years ago.
The deaths span seven years between 2007 and 2014.

The College of Nurses of Ontario says Wettlaufer is currently not entitled to practice in this province. As a matter of fact, they say she resigned on September 30th of this year. No reason was given.
She first became a nurse in 1995.
