Toronto Police say one man is in police custody and a family and their tenant have been left temporarily homeless after a bulldozer crashed into the side of a Scarborough house early Saturday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to 9 Macey Ave. near Victoria Park and Danforth, after the Bobcat machine left a five by eight-foot hole on the north side of the home, which housed a tenant in the basement.
2/2 The bobcat has a glass enclosure for the driver, and a yellow light on top. If you see one parked in your neighborhood that wasn't there earlier today, pls call @TorontoPolice . City officials will be examining the home's structural integrity.

The tenant, Faizur Rahman, told media partner CP24 that he had just had his breakfast and had gone to lay down when he heard the loud crashing noise.
He saw the Bobcat fleeing the scene as he ran upstairs to tell his landlord what happened.
Neither Rahman nor the landlord - whose entire family was in the home at the time - suffered any injuries. However, everyone was shaken up by what happened.
Late Saturday afternoon, police announced they located the bulldozer and the man who was inside it at the time.
Investigators say the bulldozer was stolen from a nearby construction site and the suspect was thought to be impaired at the time.
He was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries from crashing into the wall.
The gas to the home was shut off and an inspector has determined it is structurally unsound. It's not known how long it will take to be fully repaired.
