Charges have been laid against a teenager who fled the scene after a hit and run in Brampton Friday.
The incident, caught on cellphone video, happened on a residential street near Hurontario and Mayfield Road just after 12 in what investigators say began as a fender-bender.
In the video, it appears a young woman is standing at the front bumper, trying to block the driver from leaving.
That's when the driver hit the gas.
Investigators told NEWSTALK1010 there were no reports of serious injuries.
The car became stuck on a median before the driver finally backed up and left the scene.
18-year-old Carly Napoli of Brampton has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and two counts of failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
