They've released a photo of 37-year old David Weaver of Nelson, BC.
Investigators say Weaver is also wanted in connection with an an alleged assault that happened outside Medieval Times theatre only a couple of hours before calls for help came in from the Aquarium.
The allegation is that after a patron was escorted out of the venue for unruly behaviour, the suspect carried out what investigators call 'a random attack' on a man smoking a cigarette.
Investigators believe Weaver might be driving a green Dodge Caravan with BC License plate: PL120G.

This very well have been a case of "hold my beer, and watch this."
Toronto Police are investigating after video surfaced online of a man swimming naked, with sharks at the Ripley's Aquarium.
It happened on Friday night, around 10:30, while the Aqaurium was hosting a Friday Night Jazz event.
Police spokesperson Katrina Arrogante says the man striped off all of his clothes and jumped into the Dangerous Lagoon. That's the main tank in the aquarium that is home to Sand Tiger sharks, green sawfish, green sea turtles, green moray eels and dozens of other tropical fish.
Security asked the man to get out, and he did, before jumping back in a second time.
When he finally did get out of the pool, police say he put on some clothes and took off.
They still haven't been able to determine who this guy is.
But if caught, he could face a charge of indecent exposure for his fun.
No one was hurt during the performing of this stunt.
