Toronto Police have issued an arrest warrant for an 18-year-old man in connection with the city's latest murder.
18-year-old Christopher Enrique Gordon is wanted on a second degree murder charge in the death of 54-year-old David Blacquiere from Angus, Ontario.
Blacquiere was fatally stabbed outside a Shopper's Drug Mart in the Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue area just before noon on November 14.
Detective Rob North says Blacquiere and Gordon arrived at the scene together in the same car. He is not saying how they know each other.
A "brief exchange of words" happened in the car before the stabbing.
Det. North says Gordon is known to police. He goes by the nicknames "Lefty" and Mikey."
Investigators believe that Gordon went to a nearby apartment building at 2222 Weston Road immediately following the stabbing, where they allege another man helped him escape the area.
24-year-old Demetrius McFarquhar is wanted for accessory after the fact to murder, attempting to obstruct justice and failing to comply recognizance.
Det. North is asking both these men to contact police.
