Police are sharing the latest in their investigation into a hit-and-run in Scarborough Sunday morning.
Three pedestrians, including a 20 month-old boy who was in a stroller, were struck by a vehicle, that fled the scene.
What we know now, according to police, is that the trio were standing on the curb.
The baby was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police telling NEWSTALK1010 Sunday afternoon that the boy's condition had improved.
Two women were taken to hospital in serious condition, but are now stable.
Speaking to CTV News Toronto, the father of the boy described the currrent condition of all three.
"I'm not sure if he'll be the same after this, he is doing ok. My wife and mother-in-law are at Sunnybrook hospital, they have no memory of what happened. My wife has a broken leg."
It happened just before 11 o'clock Sunday morning at Pharmacy Avenue and Ellesmere Road.
Police now say that after the accident, a man believed to be a passenger in the suspect vehicle, got out, before fleeing on foot.
"What we believe is an occupant of that suspect vehicle, exits the vehicle, assesses the scene and then flees on foot southbound on Pharmacy Avenue," says Toronto Police Inspector Mandeep Mann, adding "Then our suspect vehicle flees westbound on Ellesmere Road."
Sunday night, police released the names of three people wanted in connection to the hit-and-run.
49-year-old Cory Munroe, 34-year-old Derek Desousa and 30-year-old Amanda Rioux, are all considered persons of interest.
Police are asking that they seek legal council and turn themselves in.
The vehicle involved is described as a grey 2015 Dodge Journey(similar to picture below) with Ontario license plate #ANXC 265

Investigators say the vehicle should have front end damage.
One of the three passengers is described as a white male, wearing a dark jacket, beige-coloured pants and white running shoes. He was also wearing dark sunglasses.
Anyone with information or dash cam video from the area is asked to call police.
