Dameion McFarland is Toronto's sixth murder victim of 2017.
The 35-year-old was shot dead inside a highrise apartment building near Jane St and Finch Ave W at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Three men who police suspect may have been involved took off from the scene.
Investigators have not shared any suspect descriptions or possible motive for the shooting.
