St Michael's College School shelved their basketball and football program, after more troubling incidents came to light.
Father Andrew Leung, the schools interim president, told reporters in a conference call on Thursday, that they asked people to come forward with their stories.
And from that, they heard of more incidents in the recent past.
Father Leung, called the incidents "troubling", but refused to provide any further details like when the incidents happened or what exactly went on.
While the basketball and football programs have been cancelled for the rest of this year, and in the case of the football teams, next year as well, the school says there is no concern about any of the other sports teams, and the coaches of the teams have not been suspended.
"There has been no incidents involving any of these coaches." says Father Leung.
Last month, six students were charged with sex assault in connection with an incident that involved several members of a school's sports team and was captured on video.
Toronto Police now say they are investigating a total of eight incidents involving students at the school.
The all-boys Catholic school says students involved in competitive sports will participate in workshops about bullying, harassment and abuse.
So far, eight students have been expelled from the school, but it's unclear how many others have been pulled out of the school by their parents.
Students who were attending St. Mike's on a scholarship or a sports bursary, have been allowed to stay at the school and continue their studies.
