Toronto Police say the body of a woman found in the woods near Millwood and the DVP Monday morning is likely that woman who went missing during a hike Sunday.
Investigators say Stella Wong, 45, had been hiking through Crothers Woods with a companion at about 7 p.m. on Sunday when she broke away from the friend and disappeared.
A command post and level 3 search was set up after the companion alerted authorities to her disappearance. Level 3 is considered the highest priority by police.
On Monday at about 9:30 a.m., police discovered a body in the same area where Wong disappeared.
