Toronto Police have released a photo of the man they allege threatened to blow up a subway car.
The threat came was delivered on crowded southbound subway on Line 1 just before 2 p.m. Sunday. Witnesses say a backpack-wearing man announced that he had a bomb and would blow up the train.
The train was evacuated in what police describe as an 'unsafe manner' and service was stopped on Line 1 between Union and Eglinton stations and on Line 2 between Broadview and St. George. Service returned to normal about 30 minutes later.
